I've been in the market for a designer bag for quite some time now. I've been saving up since high school and even had multiple jobs throughout college to fund my dream purchase. The day finally came and I found myself in front of the Louis Vuitton store with a $3000 check in hand (thanks, Mom!). My heart was racing as I waited for my turn at the counter so that they could ring up my brand new Hermes Birkin bag. But then - something happened...
My first designer bag was a Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM. It's a tote bag, which is great for me because I tend to carry around quite a lot of things in my purse, and it can hold everything I need without breaking my back. It also matches with just about all of my clothes!
I got the bag from an online store called Fendi, which has some pretty cool products. I paid $1,000 for it (I know that sounds like a lot) but if you think about how many times you'll use this thing over your lifetime it's not as bad as it seems at first glance!
Some other benefits include: durability (it has lasted me several years so far), style (you can't go wrong with black), comfortability (it feels amazing on your shoulder), and spaciousness (there are so many pockets).
The next step is to find out how long it took you to save up for the bag. This is important because it will allow us to get an idea of how much you value designer bags. If you saved up for this one in a matter of months, then that would be pretty awesome! If not, then I’d recommend waiting until you have more money saved before purchasing another one.
You wanted a bag that was practical, but you didn't want to sacrifice fashion. You wanted something that would be durable and last for many years, yet still look great in the meantime. You didn't want to spend too much money on your first designer bag, nor did you want something cheap. But it wasn't just about the money; you also wanted a bag that didn't draw too much attention to itself—you knew there would be occasions when you'd go out with your new purchase and not be comfortable pulling out an expensive designer purse in front of friends or colleagues.
Where did you get it from?
The store I bought my first designer bag from was Macy’s. The price I paid for it was $500 and it came in the color black.
I was happy, excited and surprised that I had received my first designer bag. However, I felt grateful and nervous at the same time because of the amount of money spent on it. Also, I was proud that I had been able to afford such a luxury item which made me feel special in society's eyes. At last, what really relieved me was knowing that this investment would benefit me for years to come by making me look more stylish than other people in my age group who did not have an expensive handbag like mine
How do you feel about it now?
Do you still use it? If not, why not?
If so, why do you still like it?
If you have any questions, comments or concerns about this article, I'd be happy to answer them in the comments. However, if you are not sure about something and would like some advice then it is better not to say anything at all. If you don't know what a designer bag is then don't say anything either.
I hope this helped someone and if not then please disregard.
